Regulation FD Disclosure.

Cara Therapeutics, Inc. (the “Company”)
updated its corporate presentation, which has been posted on its website and will be used for presentations. The corporate presentation
was updated to include the previously announced top-line data from the Company’s Phase 2 clinical trial of Oral KORSUVA for
chronic kidney disease-associated pruritus, as well as its recently completed additional prespecified analyses, which showed statistically significant differences
between Oral KORSUVA and placebo in percentage of Numeric Rating Scale complete responders at Week 12 and percentage of patients
scoring “much improved” or “very much improved” Patient Global Impression of Change at Week 12.
