Gaming company Activision Blizzard Inc.'s president and chief operating officer announced two new leaders for the company's Blizzard Entertainment and said Blizzard's current president is leaving.

Activision Blizzard President and Chief Operating Officer Daniel Alegre said Jen Oneal and Mike Ybarra will lead Blizzard Entertainment together and "share responsibility for development and operational accountability for the company." Mr. Alegre announced the plans in a letter to staff.

Ms. Oneal has worked as an executive vice president for development for Blizzard, Mr. Alegre said in his letter. Mr. Ybarra has been executive vice president and general manager of platform and technology at Blizzard, according to the letter.

J. Allen Brack is departing "to pursue new opportunities," Mr. Alegre said in the letter. Mr. Brack was president of Blizzard Entertainment and named to that position in 2018, according to Activision Blizzard's website.
