Amazon.com Inc. said Wednesday that 20 more companies have joined its climate pledge, a campaign it co-founded in 2019 where companies agree to measure and report emissions, decarbonize their business and reach net-zero by 2040.

That brings its total signatories to 53 companies across 18 industries in 12 countries, Amazon said. Some new signatories include International Business Machines Corp., flooring maker Interface Inc. and advertising firm S4 Capital PLC.

"We're seeing incredible momentum behind the pledge," Amazon Chief Executive Jeff Bezos said in prepared remarks.
