Target Corp. said it will create enclaves for Apple Inc. products at Target stores, doubling Apple's footprint in certain Target locations as the two giants strike a partnership.

The retailer on Thursday said it is debuting the new feature online and will roll out Apple shopping locations in certain stores this month, with additional locations scheduled for the fall. The partnership builds on a similar model Target has pursued with Walt Disney Co., Ulta Beauty Inc. and Levi Strauss & Co.

Apple's dedicated space will have lighting fixtures and displays for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, AirPods, HomePod, Apple TV and other Apple accessories, Target said. The Target app will have a dedicated Apple segment, the company said.

Target said customers can take 5% off their Apple purchases using their Target membership card.
