Apple, Google Will Use Covid-19 Notification Process Without an App --CNBC

--Apple Inc. and Alphabet Inc.'s Google are changing their plans
for a Covid-19 tracing and notification process, planning to use a
system that won't require users to install an app, CNBC reported
Tuesday.
--Future versions of iOS and Android will include the system
called "Exposure Notifications Express," CNBC reported.
--Apple and Google representatives said "as the next step in our
work with public health authorities on Exposure Notifications, we
are making it easier and faster for them to use the Exposure
Notifications System without the need for them to build and
maintain an app," CNBC reported.
