Sanofi, Translate Bio to Develop Covid-19 Vaccine Candidate

The French pharmaceutical major Sanofi SA said Friday that it is
collaborating with Translate Bio Inc. to develop a new mRNA vaccine
candidate against Covid-19.
The U.S. therapeutics company Translate Bio and Sanofi will
research and develop "multiple candidates with the goal of
advancing an efficacious and safe SARS-CoV-2 vaccine into clinical
development," Sanofi said.
It is the second collaboration related to a new Covid-19 vaccine
candidate for Sanofi after it in February started working with the
Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority.
