Engie SA (ENGI.FR) on Wednesday reported a rise in nine-month earnings and revenue, and confirmed its full-year targets.

The French electric utility company reported earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization of 7.1 billion euros ($7.93 billion), up from EUR6.8 billion the year previous.

Engie said its third-quarter performance benefited from higher availability and prices in nuclear, as well as a steep acceleration in asset commissioning and development of wind and solar capacities in the renewables division.

Revenue rose to EUR46.8 billion from EUR43 billion during the same period the year previous.

Engie backed its 2019 targets, including net recurring income of between EUR2.5 billion and EUR2.7 billion.
