UniCredit SpA (UCG.MI) said Wednesday it has reshuffled its senior-management team in preparation for the development of its next three-year strategic plan, which will be published in December.

The goal of the reshuffle is to streamline the group's reporting structure, reducing the number of executives reporting directly to Chief Executive Jean Pierre Mustier, UniCredit said.

As part of the shakeup Francesco Giordano and Olivier Khayat will become co-CEOs of Commercial Banking, Western Europe--the group's largest division--while Gianfranco Bisagni and Niccolo Ubertalli will be the co-CEOs of Commercial Banking, Central and Eastern Europe, UniCredit said.

Carlo Vivaldi will join Ranieri de Marchis as co-chief operating officer for the group.

They will all report directly to Mr. Mustier.

Richard Burton will become the sole head of the group's corporate-and-investment banking division, reporting to the Commercial Banking, Western Europe management team.
