UniCredit SpA (UCG.MI) said Wednesday it sold a nonperforming loan portfolio to Guber Banca SpA.

The Italian bank said the loan portfolio has a gross claim value of around 170 million euros ($193.2 million) and that it consists entirely of Italian exposures.

The effect of the sale should be reflected in UniCredit's fourth-quarter trading statement, the company said.
