--The chief executives of Italian energy companies Eni S.p.A. and Enel S.p.A. are likely to be reappointed to their posts by the country's government, Reuters reported Friday, citing "a senior government official."

--Claudio Descalzi was named CEO of Eni in 2014, and Francesco Starace took the helm at Enel that same year, the report said, adding that both were reappointed to their posts in 2017.
