Eni Makes Gas and Condensate Discovery in Onshore Sharjah Emirate

ENI SpA (ENI.MI) said Monday that it made a gas and condensate
discovery in the United Arab Emirates' Sharjah emirate.
The Italian oil-and-gas company said the Mahani exploration
prospect, which is located onshore in the concession area B of
Sharjah, was drilled to a total of 14,597 feet measured depth. The
size of the discovery will be assessed with additional appraisal
drilling, it added.
The Mahani exploration prospect was awarded to the company a
year ago in the first international competitive exploration
licensing round launched by the Sharjah National Oil Corporation,
according to Eni.
