Eni SpA (ENI.MI) said Tuesday that operations had resumed at its refinery in Sannazzaro de' Burgondi in the Italian region of Pavia after an explosion.

The company said that there were no consequences for employees at the plant and no fire occured.

The explosion happened at 0430 GMT on Tuesday and affected one part of a gasification line, it said.
