--Virgin Money UK PLC is cutting a quarter of its branch network and axing 500 jobs, The Times reports.

--Virgin Money is also moving ahead with the rebranding of its Clydesdale Bank and Yorkshire Bank franchises, whose names will disappear by October, The Times says.
