ANZ in Talks for Potential Acquisition of KKR's MYOB Unit

SYDNEY--Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Ltd. is in talks
with KKR & Co. for the potential acquisition of the U.S.
private equity company's MYOB accounting platform.
ANZ on Wednesday said that it had yet to reach agreement with
KKR and that there was no certainty that a deal would proceed.
Any acquisition of MYOB, which is used by accountants and small-
and medium-sized enterprises, would be subject to approvals
including from Australia's competition regulator and New Zealand's
foreign investment regulator, ANZ said.
