Ford Motor Co. said Wednesday that its marketing chief, Suzy Deering, has left the automotive giant.

Shares at 3:27 p.m. ET were down 1.1% at $13.13 per share. On a year-to-date basis, Ford's stock is down 37%.

Ford didn't provide details on a potential successor for Ms. Deering, who joined the Dearborn, Mich., company over two years ago.
