--ASML, a Dutch equipment supplier to the semiconductor industry, has denied reports that a delayed order of machinery to China is due to U.S. pressure, according to the South China Morning Post.

--"The law says that you need an export license to ship Extreme Ultraviolet lithography machines [to China]. We have applied for a license," an ASML spokeswoman told the SCMP.
