--Spies with indirect links to China's science and technology ministry stole valuable company secrets from Dutch chip maker ASML, the Financieele Dagblad reports, citing its own internal investigation.

--According to the Dutch newspaper, the theft was carried out by ASML employees in research and development and the resulting losses are estimated in the hundreds of millions of euros.
