Less than 0.5% of Perry Capital LLC's losses last year were from
a bet on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. A Money & Investing
article Tuesday about blows suffered by the hedge-fund business
incorrectly said the firm's investment in Fannie Mae and Freddie
Mac was responsible for much of the losses.
Research company App Annie estimates that the smartphone game
"Pokémon Go" has earned $500 million in revenue. A Sept. 21
Technology article about Pokémon Co.'s plans to create games for
Nintendo Co.'s next platform incorrectly gave the figure as $700
million.
By the end of Monday night's presidential debate, Donald Trump
had mentioned trade six times and China nine times, while Hillary
Clinton had mentioned China three times. A chart in some editions
Tuesday with a Page One article about the debate incorrectly gave
the figures as five, four and one, respectively.
The name of "The White Men's Caucus," a gender and diversity
workshop, was incorrectly given as "The White Man's Caucus" in an
article on diversity training in Tuesday's Women in the Workplace
special report.
The Chicago Cubs play on the north side of Chicago. A Sports
article Friday about the baseball team's chances this season
incorrectly associated the team with North Chicago, a Chicago
suburb.
Rep. Seth Moulton (D., Mass.) is undecided on the statewide
ballot initiative "Question 2," which would raise the cap on
charter-school growth in Massachusetts. A Sept. 27 op-ed by Roger
Lowenstein, " A Bay State Referendum on Charter Schools," misstated
Rep. Moulton's position.
