GOWEX extends its frontiers beyond Paris, connecting the surburbs of Carrières-sous-Poissy  and Enghien-les-Bains to Free WiFi services

Owing to an agreement reached between GOWEX and Atlanteam, both companies will offer free WiFi services in these two Paris surburbs in the Île-de-France, one of the richest per-capital income metropolitan areas in the heart of France.

GOWEX is keeping ahead with its growth strategy in France, extending the free Wi-Fi service already operational in major French cities like Paris, Bourdeaux, Marseille, Nice and Ajaccio

Madrid, 25^rd of June, 2014. GOWEX (GOW-MAB, ALGOW-NYSE Alternext, LGWXY-OTC Market), leading company in the creation of Wireless Smart Cities® and Smart Transport, and Atlanteam, pioneer Internet Access Provider in French Multimedia slots, will offer free WiFi Internet connection in major public parks and town buildings in the Paris satellite towns of Carrières-sous-Poissy y Enghien-les-Bains.

Located in Parisien Region, Île-de-France, both suburbs contribute to the most populated region in all of France, which, in turn, houses one of the highest per-capital income metropolitan zones in the world.

Wi-Fi Network in Carrières

The newly-operational network already serves the main public parks and spaces, youth centres and sports complexes in the town, namely rue Pasteur, Place Église, Jardin René Cassin, Place Saint-Exupéry, Bibliothèque Octave Mirbeau, Complèxe sportif Alsace, just to mention a few. Atlanteam and GOWEX will provide free WiFi Internet coverage to mainly frequented and principal zones of this town. It is expected that this service will guarantee service sustainability and bring in enriched value from GOWEXs Geo-tagged Advertisement Platforms, 3G Roaming and Offloading.

Enghien-les-Bains

Similarly, GOWEX and Atlanteam launch the WiFi network in the Parisien suburb of Enghien-les-Bains, providing internet connection in "Parc et Mairie", "Vill du Lac" or "Parc Sainte Jeanne". Users who access the Net will be able to browse freely at a connection speed of 512 kbps via the network .FREEWiFiGOWEX. Should the need for a faster connection speed arise, users will be able to suscribe to Premium rate browsing with a capacity of up to 6 Mbps.

GOWEX en France

This new service is just one of GOWEXs services already operational in public spaces in Paris, Frances public transport services such as major Paris Metro Stations, on board the RDT13 buses en Marseille or in public parks in cities as Nice, Bourdeaux and Ajaccio.

Due to our projects' confidentialiity, GOWEX announced on december 2013 an agreement with 5 new cities. Two of them will be published today.
