UniCredit Confirms Rampl To Resign As Chairman

UniCredit SpA (UCG.MI) Tuesday confirmed Dieter Rampl's
intention to resign as chairman of the Italian bank, saying he
would step down on April 19.
UniCredit, which reported fourth-quarter results earlier in the
day, said in a statement Rampl would keep representing the bank on
the board of Mediobanca (MB.MI), a smaller Italian bank in which
UniCredit has a stake.
