               Result of General Meeting/Change of Company Name 
 
The Company hereby gives notification that the resolution put to shareholders 
at a general meeting held earlier today was duly passed by shareholders. 
 
In line with the proposal put to shareholders, the Company's name has been 
changed from Gartmore European Investment Trust p.l.c. to Henderson European 
Focus Trust plc. 
 
The change of name took effect at Companies House on 25 November 2011. The new 
dealing code, with effect from 28 November 2011, is `HEFT'. The website address 
becomes `www.hendersoneuropeanfocus .com'.
