PMF, PCQ and PNF Declare Monthly Common Share Income Dividends

The Boards of Trustees of PIMCO Municipal Income Fund (NYSE:
PMF), PIMCO California Municipal Income Fund (NYSE: PCQ) and PIMCO
New York Municipal Income Fund (NYSE: PNF) (collectively, the
“Funds”) announced today that they have declared the following
dividends on the Funds’ common shares:
PIMCO
Municipal Income Fund $ 0.08125 per common share PIMCO California
Municipal Income Fund $ 0.077 per common share PIMCO New York
Municipal Income Fund $ 0.057 per common share
The dividends will be payable on November 2, 2009 to
shareholders of record on October 13, 2009, with an ex-dividend
date of October 8, 2009.
At September 30, 2009 the Funds’ net assets (a) were
approximately:

(a) Net assets are inclusive of Preferred Shares of $190
million, $150 million and $47 million for the Municipal Income,
California Municipal Income and New York Municipal Income,
respectively.
The Funds are closed-end management investment companies. The
investment objective of each Fund is to provide current income
exempt from federal income tax. California Municipal Income Fund
also seeks to provide current income exempt from California state
income taxes. New York Municipal Income Fund also seeks to provide
income exempt from New York State and city income taxes. There can
be no assurance that the Funds will meet their stated
objectives.
