The Women’s Enterprise Action Loan Fund (WEALF) www.wealf.org, known for providing strong women entrepreneurs with essential tools to expand and enhance their businesses, is now accepting new applications to join the program www.wealf.org/apply/.

According to WEALF founder, Vicki Weiner, since its inception in 2012, WEALF has addressed the needs of women who are unable to obtain financing from traditional sources. WEALF has made approximately $250,000 in loans to women-owned businesses in the New York Metro area. Now WEALF hopes to expand its program, bringing more women entrepreneurs into its family.

WEALF prides itself on offering an interest-free loan to women entrepreneurs together with one-on-one mentoring to assist them to become financially self-sufficient. The organization matches each participant with an experienced businesswoman from its Board of Advisors who provides advice and assistance. From financial seminars to networking events, WEALF offers women an opportunity to learn crucial information and skills needed to run a successful business.

Discussing their long and continuing relationship with WEALF, participants express their enthusiasm and encourage other entrepreneurs to take advantage of all the benefits the organization offers. Annabelle Santos, a current participant and founder of SPADET, a successful manufacturer of olive oil based beauty care products, states “WEALF has provided me with the mentorship, guidance and financial support to grow quickly. I am filled with gratitude and hope knowing that there are organizations like WEALF that are committed to helping women entrepreneurs.” The WEALF website highlights the moving stories of Annabelle and other women who are changing their future.

The organization has provided over 50 loans, offering first round interest-free loans from $5,000 to $10,000 to qualified applicants and low interest second and third loans. The organization has 501(c)(3) status through the Business Center for New Americans, which also administers WEALF’s loans.
