0917 GMT - The impact of the collapse of construction and facilities-management company Carillion, announced on Jan. 15, could "be partially reflected" in U.K. purchasing managers' surveys this week as PMI data are collected mid-month, RBC says. "To the extent any adverse knock-on consequences for the company's sub-contractors are captured in the survey responses this month, the skew of risks to this month's PMIs looks to be on the downside," it says. U.K. manufacturing PMI figures for January are released at 0930 GMT on Thursday. This will be followed by construction PMI on Friday and services PMI on Monday. (jessica.fleetham@wsj.com)
