LAKE OSWEGO, Ore., Oct. 12, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Treasure Investments Corporation (TIC) has just released and made available Americana currency collections and scripophily for donation through its charity auction business model. Mark Russo, CEO of Treasure Investments Corporation has been helping charities raise funds since 1998.

The Charity auction market remains one of the main divisions for TIC, by placing its bronze sculptures for sale into gala fund-raising events and helping nonprofits reach and exceed their financial goals. TIC is providing nonprofits with auction items which now include Americana Currency art pieces and scripophily, which are old and historical stock certificates. The currency sets are 2-10 framed bank notes from the late 1800s to early 1900s. The bank notes are printed by the Bureau of Engraving and Printing from the U.S. Treasury. They are one-sided, uncirculated bank notes that were created from the actual plates and dies.

TIC frames and creates limited edition series using a combination of the different bank notes. "These incredible art pieces, once framed and matted, are absolutely breathtaking," says Russo.

The U.S. Treasury stopped reprinting old bank notes in the early 1990s. When reprinted, they were used as souvenir cards for major currency shows. "I bought up every one I could find from every coin and currency dealer in the country. We have enough to build about 1000 framed pieces, giving us the opportunity to generate millions in additional revenue. These bank notes are beautiful and when properly framed with other rare and unique notes makes for an amazing piece of fine art. I wanted to provide something really special for the charity auction program and now with this, our old world stock certificates, and fine bronze sculptures, we really have something no one else can provide," says Russo.

Treasure Investments Corporation provides high-end limited-edition bronze sculptures for charity fundraising events as well as creating and distributing its world-class images to fine art galleries in the United States. The subject matter of these pieces ranges from wildlife themes to historical, cultural, western, and biblical.

Treasure Investments Corporation has amassed a master mold collection of more than 700 original works of art including many works from world-famous artists, Lorenzo and Laran Ghiglieri, as well as master molds that originated from the Vatican and the Villa Borghese Museum in Rome. Bernini and Michelangelo are also among the artists that are included in the mold collection.

The company has a strong focus on philanthropy. One of their main business divisions is their charity auction program, which provides fine art pieces for fund-raising events and auctions. The unique business model sets the company apart from the rest. Russo created this innovative model in 1998 by placing valuable bronze castings into gala charity fund-raising events. The revenue of the final sales price of the pieces with the nonprofits is shared, no strings attached. The first piece sold for $63,000.
