Saint-Gobain to Modernize Romanian Stonewool Production Line

Compagnie de Saint-Gobain SA (SGO.FR) said Wednesday that it
plans to modernize the stonewool production line at its Isover
plant in Romania, in order to increase and expand production and
meet rising demand for insulation products in South-East
Europe.
The renovation of the plant in Ploiesti is expected to increase
production capacity to 30,000 tons a year and the modernized
stonewool production line is due to start operating in the second
half of 2019, Saint-Gobain said.
Saint-Gobain's Ploiesti has been operating since 1997 and a
glass wool production line is currently being modernized, the
company said.
