Novartis AG (NOVN.EB) said Monday that it appointed three new members to its executive committee, and that Andre Wyss, president of operations, is leaving the company.

Bertrand Bodson, chief digital officer, and Steffen Lang, global head of technical operations, have been appointed to the company's executive committee.

The Swiss company said that Shannon Klinger's role has been expanded to chief ethics, risk and compliance officer, and she has also been appointed to the executive committee.

All the changes will be effective from April 1.

"The appointments of Bertrand Bodson, Steffen Lang and Shannon Klinger to the ECN will help us accelerate our efforts to lead in data and digital," said Chief Executive Vas Narasimhan.

The company also said that Andre Wyss, president of operations, has decided to leave Novartis.

Novartis Operations will be split into Novartis Technical Operations and Novartis Business Services, it said.
