APPOINTMENT OF NEW CEO & CHAIRMAN

Nakama Group PLC is pleased to announce that Andrea Williams has been appointed Chief Executive Officer with immediate effect. She moves into this executive role following her appointment in December 2017 as a Non-Executive Director to the Company. Angus Watson will revert to his Chief Financial Officer role after acting as interim Chief Executive Officer from September 2017.

Andrea has extensive experience of the recruitment sector in Asia, Australia and the UK having worked across these locations for over twenty years holding senior managerial and board positions at a number of private and publicly-quoted recruitment companies.

In addition, Ken Ford has resigned as Non-Executive Chairman and is replaced by Tim Sheffield, who steps up from his current Non-Executive Director role and becomes Non-Executive Chairman. Tim has been a professional services adviser and business leader for the past twenty-four years and he currently serves as Chairman of Sheffield Haworth Limited, the executive search and talent advisory Group, which he founded in 1993.

The Company and Board would like to thank Ken Ford for his very substantial contribution and wise counsel over many years to the Group. His contribution has been invaluable in helping the Group restructure, expand internally and internationally and establish itself as a recognised brand, both in the UK and in international markets.

Furthermore, the Company is delighted to welcome Andrea and Tim into their new roles and the Board looks forward to the Company, staff and customers benefitting greatly from their proven leadership and extensive experience.
