Evaluation based on Completeness of Vision and Ability to Execute

LiveAction today announced it has been named as a Visionary in the 2018 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Network Performance Monitoring and Diagnostics1 and has been recognized in Gartner’s Critical Capabilities for Network Performance Management Diagnostics2. This is the second consecutive year that LiveAction has been included in the reports, having been positioned as a Challenger in the 2017 version of the Magic Quadrant. In the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Network Performance Monitoring and Diagnostics, Gartner evaluated LiveAction for its completeness of vision and ability to execute.

LiveAction believes it was positioned in the Visionaries quadrant based on significant updates made to the LiveNX platform over the past year. New capabilities include machine learning for continuous insight, endpoint monitoring that extends visibility to the network edge, simplified workflows for multi-vendor SD-WAN design and assurance, tighter integration with IT service management solutions, and greater visibility and reporting across cloud network environments.

In its 2018 Magic Quadrant for Network Performance Monitoring and Diagnostics, Gartner recognized 22 companies; LiveAction was one of six included in the Visionaries quadrant.

“We strive to build great solutions that help solve tough customer problems. We believe our positioning in the Visionaries quadrant demonstrates our commitment to delivering compelling, customer driven enhancements to meet their evolving needs,” said Darren Kimura, executive chairman, LiveAction. “We will continue to focus and execute on our goal to build the world’s best network performance management platform.”

LiveNX simplifies network management by visualizing complicated data streams for easy network operations. In addition, built-in analytics and network element configuration for Quality of Service help identify and solve issues before they impact the user’s experience.

A Gartner Magic Quadrant is a culmination of research in a specific market, giving you a wide-angle view of the relative positions of the market's competitors. By applying a graphical treatment and a uniform set of evaluation criteria, a Magic Quadrant helps you quickly ascertain how well technology providers are executing their stated visions and how well they are performing against Gartner's market view.
