Woodstown, bested 24 other
finalists to be named Pet Industry Woman of the Year by the Women
in the Pet Industry Network.
Morgan received the award Oct. 2
at a ceremony held at The Club at Shannondell in Oaks, Pa. The award was made in conjunction
with the Pet Connections Expo held at the Greater Philadelphia
Expo Center. Morgan is the fifth recipient to be named Pet Industry
Woman of the Year.
Women in the Pet Industry Network (WIPIN) is a Portland, Ore.-based organization focused on
women leaders in all categories of the growing pet industry.
Leaders don't need to be members of WIPIN to compete for Pet
Industry Woman of the Year, and many of the finalists are members,
however the caliber of these finalists speaks to how vital the pet
space is becoming because of so many women doing remarkable work.
WIPIN members come from all categories within the pet industry,
from groomers and veterinarians to pet sitters and pet boutique
owners.
