ADVFN announces that it has issued and allotted 337,500 new ordinary shares of 1p each at 3.056p per ordinary share, in the Company, pursuant to the exercise of options by an employee of the Company.

Application to the London Stock Exchange has been made for these new ordinary shares (which rank pari passu with the Company's existing issued ordinary shares) to be admitted to trading on AIM ('Admission'). It is expected that Admission will become effective and that dealings will commence on 2 May 2012.

Following Admission, the Company's enlarged issued share capital will comprise 625,319,004 ordinary shares. Therefore the total number of ordinary shares with voting rights is 625,319,004. This figure of 625,319,004 ordinary shares may be used by shareholders in the Company as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change in their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
