LA JOLLA, Calif., Nov. 17, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Imagine Global Care Corp, a life sciences company developing natural, clinically tested health and wellness products based on phytonutrient research, today announced the publication of the first clinical trial of its recently launched bitter melon supplement: Goyamin.

The double-blind, placebo controlled trial was accepted for publication in the peer-reviewed journal Evidence-Based Complementary and Alternative Medicine. The clinical trial results demonstrated a significant decrease in LDL cholesterol with continued daily use of the product over a 30 day period.

This is the first-ever bitter melon supplement to show clinical evidence of having cholesterol-related health benefits. "After so much went into the research and development of this product, we were very excited to see these results," said President and CEO Hiroki Kinoshita. "Our goal as a company has always been to connect people with natural health solutions that have been scientifically validated. We all know, in a general sense, how powerful and beneficial phytonutrients can be, but it is not enough to rely on the general sense. These types of studies allow us to understand these benefits in a very specific and very precise way."

Goyamin is a superfood extracted from bitter melon (also called goya), locally grown in Okinawa, a blue-zone area, which is rated by National Geographic as one of the healthiest places on earth, with high concentrations of people living to 100 years or more thanks to a diet rich in vegetables, especially goya.
