--General Electric Co. (GE) is considering selling its power-conversion business, Converteam, Bloomberg reports Friday, citing "people familiar with the matter."

--GE has been working with Credit Suisse Group AG on the possible sale, the report said, adding the unit could fetch $1.5 billion, below the $3.2 billion GE paid in 2011.
