FactSet, a global provider of integrated financial information, analytical applications and industry-leading services, and its wholly-owned companies Vermilion and Portware, have won top honors in nine industry awards competitions so far in 2017, including “Best Market Data Provider” and “Best Analytics Provider” in the Inside Market Data and Inside Reference Data Awards.  In addition, Waters Rankings selected Vermilion for the second year in a row as the “Best Reporting System Provider” and FactSet as “Best Performance Measurement System Provider.”

The awards add to a growing list of achievements for FactSet in recent years.

The Inside Market Data and Inside Reference Data awards celebrate the most outstanding companies, people, and products of the past year. The top data and analytics awards spotlighted FactSet’s Portfolio Analysis (PA) suite, a multi-asset class, global solution that helps investment professionals see and seize opportunity sooner.  Included is FactSet’s passive investment content, which includes index funds, exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and alternative investment content, including private equity investments.

The Waters Rankings, an awards program where the category winners are determined exclusively by end-users, recognized FactSet as the “Best Performance Measurement System Provider” for its Portfolio Analysis suite.

FactSet swept up top honors as the “Best Client Services Solution” at the FTF News Technology Innovation Awards, which celebrate and recognize the professionals, financial technology vendors, service providers, industry bodies, and regulators that have made significant strides and noteworthy achievements in operational excellence. The WealthBriefing European Awards, which celebrate innovation and excellence in the wealth management industry, honored FactSet as “Best Data Provider to Wealth Managers.”

FactSet was also recognized as “Best Data Provider - Fixed Income and Credit,” in the Fund Technology and Wall Street Letter Awards, which honor the achievements of asset managers, exchanges, brokerages, network providers and trading platforms that have helped to shape innovation across the space in the last year.  In addition, the MENA FM Fund Services Awards, dedicated to recognizing companies that have shown excellence in providing services to the fund and asset management industry of the Middle East and North Africa, named FactSet as “Best Risk Management Technology Provider.”

For the third year in a row, FactSet was awarded “Best Investment Analytics Provider” at Systems in The City Awards, which annually recognizes leading service and system suppliers to the regulated financial community.  The awards are overseen by Goodacre UK, a leading specialist consultancy for the securities industry.

Vermilion, a best-in-class, award-winning workflow solution for client reporting and communication, won the FTF News Technology Innovation Award for “Best Client Reporting Solution,” voted by users for the provider that has advanced the complex process of client reporting. Vermilion also won “Best Client Reporting Solution” in the WealthBriefing European Awards and, for the second year in a row, Vermilion was recognized as the “Best Reporting System Provider” in the Waters Rankings.

Portware, a FactSet Company and leading global provider of multi-asset trade automation solutions powered by artificial intelligence, was honored as “Best Buy-Side EMS” in the Markets Choice Awards, which recognize the best of the best across the institutional buy-side and sell-side: exchanges, sell-side trading desks, institutional asset owners, investment managers, and technology providers.
