Electronic Inventory Online (EIO.com), a family owned, online-based retailer, has grown yet again. In addition to moving to its fourth home, the retailer has also launched a new and improved website. Located at 3102 Kashiwa St. off of Lomita Blvd., the move to a larger home was driven by the company’s continued growth driven primarily by online sales. The new office space is significantly larger with more space for inventory as well as expanded office space for EIO.com’s growing, local employee base.

EIO’s website has been updated to be more mobile friendly and make online ordering that much easier. The search feature has also been greatly improved making it easier to find the products you would want to order, and with 100,000+ SKUs to choose from, it’s necessary.

Company founder, Tachyon Gott, had this to say about the move. “I’m really excited about this. We’ve had some big challenges with space, where to put our inventory, where to put my staff, and this is a really good move for us. It’s definitely a huge move from where we started and where we’ve been.” While the move is a big deal, he was most excited about the updated website. “We’ve worked especially hard to make it responsive and more fluid. Easier to interact with. Making it compatible with mobile browsing was long overdue.”

EIO was founded in 2004 after Gott had started a corporate career in IT and programming his first website. EIO started from a small warehouse in Gardena and later moved to Torrance, where they’ve stayed and continue to employ mostly Torrance residents.
