"HSBC Says New Accounting Standards Lower Its Net Assets, But Raise Capital Ratio," at 1057 GMT, misstated that the standards will lower the ratio by 12 bps in the third paragraph. HSBC said its CET1 ratio will increase by 12 bps, not decrease.
