—Leaders in truck leasing and maintenance to discuss latest trends and issues surrounding trucking industry—

NationaLease, one of the largest full-service truck leasing organizations in North America, today announced it will be hosting its 72nd Annual Meeting, Sept. 18-19, 2016, at the Four Seasons Hotel in Chicago, IL. This event brings together leaders from 155 independently owned truck leasing and maintenance companies to learn about the latest trends and issues concerning the trucking industry. The meeting includes a trade and technology show and reception the evening of the 18th.

Each year, representatives of NationaLease’s truck leasing companies gather to review a broad array of topics, including ways to improve customer service, reduce operational costs, gain new business, and maximize benefits of membership. Featured speakers this year include:

  • Frank Abagnale, one of the worlds’s most respected authorities on forgery, embezzlement and secure documents. He is a best-selling author, as well as the subject of the movie “Catch Me if You Can,” directed by Steven Spielberg and starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hanks.
  • Jim Meil, a Principal and Industry Analyst with ACT Research and an expert in commercial vehicle industry data, market analysis, and forecasting for the North American Market.
  • Neil Dishman, Partner at Jackson Lewis, discussing the upcoming changes to Department of Labor standards and how business can prepare for them.

This year’s agenda includes several breakout sessions on the current state of the market for used trucks and extended warranties, and insurance trends. In addition, an update on legislative issues facing the trucking industry will be presented by Jake Jacoby, President and CEO of the Truck Rental and Leasing Association (TRALA).
