WASHINGTON, Dec. 14, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation's largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, has released its annual video, titled "Living Our Faith: Defending Freedom."

CAIR's 12-minute video details its response to President Trump's "Muslim Ban" executive orders and to the unprecedented rise in white supremacy and Islamophobia since Trump's election.

The video highlights major CAIR initiatives such as the launch of an app through which victims of discrimination may file reports and learn about their constitutional rights and of an Islamophobia.org website to monitor the "Islamophobia industry," CAIR's efforts to defeat anti-Islam bills introduced in state legislatures and to challenge anti-Muslim rallies around the country, and CAIR-sponsored Muslim voter mobilization, lobbying and "get-out-the-vote" drives. It also shows the "outpouring" of support for American Muslims since the presidential election.
