Alex Wilmot-Sitwell, Bank of America's president of Europe, the
Middle East and Africa, is leaving the firm, the bank announced on
Friday, according to a memo viewed by The Wall Street Journal.
Mr. Wilmot-Sitwell "has informed me of his decision to leave the
firm to pursue opportunities outside the bank," the bank's chief
operating officer, Tom Montag, said in the memo.
Mr. Wilmot-Sitwell joined the bank from UBS Group AG in 2012 and
was involved in the bank's Brexit planning. His role, which
reported to Mr. Montag, also included overseeing the bank's
operations across the region and dealing with regulators.
He will remain with the bank for "the next few months" before
departing, the memo said.
