Alstom Acquires Railway Internet Provider 21net

Alstom SA (ALO.FR) said Tuesday that it has signed a purchase
agreement for the acquisition of 21net from the InnovaCom Inc.
(MPEG) fund and other investors.
Alstom said the transaction is expected to be completed in one
month, after which it will begin integrating 21net into the
group.
21net is headquartered in the U.K. with subsidiaries in Belgium,
France, Italy and India. It employs 50 people and its turnover
stood at around 16 million euros ($19.7 million) in 2017. 21net is
a provider of on-board internet and passenger infotainment systems
for the railway industry.
No financial details have been disclosed.
