FAIRPLAY, Colo., Feb. 23, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- On
January 31, under Fairplay's clear skies, AP hosted a lunch to
celebrate the topping out of the Park County Office Building
Expansion.
The lunch was hosted in appreciation of all the efforts of the
trades people working on the project. In attendance were County
Commissioners, representatives from the Town of Fairplay, county employees, D2C
Architects, and a number of subcontractors working on the
project.
This new 2-story, 23,000 sf office building in the mountain town
of Fairplay is being built
directly behind, and tying into, the County's current office
building. It will house the offices of Administration, Assessor,
Clerk & Recorder, Treasurer, and Development Services. In
addition to the new structure, a tenant improvement and renovation
to the existing building basement level will also be required with
sustainable design and construction principles incorporated.
"We're incredibly grateful for the partnership on this
structure," said AP Superintendent Steve
Schroer, "including Park
County, D2C and their consultants and the subcontractors
that are putting in work to make this a successful project."
The project is scheduled for completion in June 2018 and is currently on schedule.
