Pound Slightly Up After U.K. Retail Sales

(RTTNews) - At 5.30 am ET Thursday, the Office for National Statistics has released UK retail sales data.
Following the data, the pound rose slightly against its major counterparts.
The pound was trading at 149.67 against the yen, 1.3424 against the franc, 0.8711 against the euro and 1.4171 against the greenback around 5:32 am ET.
