Franc Mixed Ahead Of SNB Rate Decision

(RTTNews) - The Swiss National Bank is set to announce its rate decision at 3.30 am ET. The central bank is likely to retain the interest rate close to zero. Also, the SNB is expected to maintain the minimum exchange rate of CHF 1.20 per euro.

The Swiss franc showed mixed performance against its major rivals ahead of the rate decision. While the franc fell against the euro, it held steady against the rest of majors. As of 3:25 am ET, the franc was trading at 1.2020 against the euro, 1.4805 versus the pound, 83.10 against the yen and 0.9560 against the dollar.
