Dollar Steady Amid US Sept. Homebuilders' Confidence Report

(RTTNews) - The National Association of Home Builders released the results of its September survey on homebuilders' confidence at 10:00 am ET. The headline index rose to 40 from 37 in August. Consensus estimates called for the index to rise to 38 in September.
The US dollar held steady against its major counterparts after the report. As of 10:02 am ET, the greenback was trading at 0.9280 against the Swiss franc, 78.65 against the yen, 1.6235 against the pound and 1.3063 against the euro.
