Share Prices

Share prices are the prices at which investors can buy or sell a stock.

Owning a share means that you are a shareholder in a company and have ownership of a piece of its assets and earnings.

Smaller companies which are listed on a stock exchange may have market makers. A market maker is a type of broker whose job is to create a buy and sell price so that investors can always buy and sell a share.
