I've just been reading about Mercedes-Benz having done a 13-minute promotional movie for the new CLS model, similar idea to the 'spoof movie trailer' they did for the new SL a couple of years ago, this time starring (among others) Brian Ferry, Danni Minogue & Max Beasley. It's available to view on the web and presumably they will be showing a cut-down version as TV advertising. However, I can't see them having made the full 13 min. version just for the web, and you don't make a 13 min. mini-movie just to show an edited version in a TV ad slot, so why make it? Anyone else thinking what i'm thinking - sounds perfect for a promo-dvd with interactive features in the same vain as the landrover dvd. I wonder ....
