... people will become more savvy, and know what to look for in a good product... ie: dvd extra logo
---
i was in whsmith a few days ago. a young couple were deeply engrossed in rifling through the dvdgames section, and they had 3 or 4 games already in their basket. the bloke in particular was reading the back of eack box label in great depth and after a while i overheard his wife/girlfriend ask him why he was studying them so much. "i'm looking for this logo here - see where it says dvdextra - that means it's a proper dvd game". i just had to ask him where he got that impression from - apparently just word of mouth via friends and the fact that he had previously bought millionaire 2 and GBOWR last year and was impressed by those games. He didn't know much about Zoo or Zootech or anything like that, all he was interested in was looking out for the DVDExtra logo. i must admit i was quite chuffed to hear that sort of reaction.
i quess the moral of this is that people are actually becoming more savvy and discerning, and wish that Zoo could do a bit more plug the DVDExtra logo at retail level, just like Dolby did all those years ago.
