Zoo Digital Technology with a market set to grow strongly

Topped up towards the close today, whilst someone is clearly bailing, it appears they were going to bail whatever the interims said and were looking for trade volume rather than anything Zoo reported. Whilst the RNS was a bland read, there was nothing in there to warrant any selling or on the surface nothing to get anyone over excited. However reading both the RNS and Eddison report there is plenty in there to buy and hold for the longterm.

Some of the highlights for me being:

This year they said: "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire - Family Picture Edition', 'Wallace & Gromit' and 'Telly Addicts' interactive DVD games completed and delivered to Universal Pictures. Universal will release these games into eight territories throughout the second half of the year

The technology products to date are DVD-EXTRA STUDIO and the Regionalisation Utility for the efficient production of localised DVD menus. Customers include a major Hollywood studio, Technicolor Creative Services, Ascent Media Corporation and Comchoice.

One major studio has already taken this product and testing is well under way with other organisations.

Prototypes are currently being tested by major organisations and the Group estimates that this process could be used on a large percentage of all film DVDs produced.

'Seaworld Adventure Parks Tycoon 3D' and 'American Chopper - The Full Throttle'.

My comment: Something has gone astray and off the radar, maybe they slipped up and put it on the website in error, on the other hand with the biggest branded game of its type it will deserve an RNS all on its own ;)

We would look to review these in early 2006, post an update regarding the performance of the interactive portfolio over Christmas and early New Year and any further breakthrough in the US for ZOOtech's extended DVD authoring portfolio.

My comment: With the visable sales performance of the Idvd products, the chance of an upgrade early next year is very high.
