I've been doing a bit more searching for Horizon Oil in the BVI. It appears that you can set up a company in the BVI for as little as £350. And the plus points if you're setting up that company is that you don't have to name a director of that company, you can pay any number of firms who will nominate a director of that company with no liability for said director.
Secrecy, there is no list of companies set up in the BVI, as, you've guessed it, it's a secret, as that's what these companies are mainly set up for. It's estimated there are something like 200,000 'Offshore' companies have been set up in BVI, not bad considering there are only 98,000 people in the country/islands.
So the long and the short of it is...... you'll do very well to find out about Horizon Oil (BVI). It could be just a company set up by the directors of ZAR to inflate the share price.
I have to say, that I'm always suspicious of anyone/thing that's covered up/hidden, because there's normally a reason.
