I'm pretty sure that Quadrise will develop as an independent company though I'm equally sure that some of the oil majors will be keeping a close eye on them. There's also nothing to stop one of these companies eventually putting in a bid for Quadrise in order to secure exclusive rights to the technology they have developed. The shareholders (irrespective of whoever holds the major stakes) would have to consider any serious bid. Either way, the point is that the technology developed by Quadrise is needed by some major players in the industry as it could save them a fortune and these shares will be sought after by institutions, retail investors and people involved in the industry because of the huge potential on offer.
